Let's defeat the depression!

Depression and suicidal thoughts are two of the most frightening things a person can face in their lifetime.

Depression is such a conversation that it just doesn't come out, people don't realise it.

Depression has a negative effect on an individual. It is a state of low mood that affects one's thought process, feelings, behaviour & sense of well being.

Depression may lead to repetitive suicidal thoughts & it ends in self-destruction.

People suffering from depression get easily irritated & nervous. They find their lives to be unstable & meaningless. This gives rise to suicidal thoughts

Unfortunately, acting on those suicidal thoughts is a far too common scenario for many across the world, including students. In fact, suicide is the second leading cause of death for those between the ages of 15 and 24.

There are many reasons that someone might choose suicide or contemplate suicidal thoughts. Those reasons are often so complex & complicated that the person suffering from those feelings might not be able to articulate exactly what is going on in their head & heart.

However, long & difficult research has found that the basic motivation for suicide is the feeling of utter despair & hopelessness. According to the Vedic literature, suicide solves none of the problems of living in this material World.

Rabindranath Tagore believed that being socially connected was an antidote to mental estrangement. So for getting rid of depression & these suicidal thoughts, firstly, one should be able to talk to their family & friends.

One should meditate, eat healthily & avoid negative thinking as well as negative emotions. And must consult with a doctor.

oh yes! you can defeat your depression..
Save yourself for the god seak , for your mom, dad , for your loved ones,
and most importantly for yourself....
because the  World needs you.....

Source: The creative life  " 10 ways to stop procrastinating " Are you unable to complete your studies on time? We all are aware of the habit of procrastination. When we think that we will do this work after a while or tomorrow, then it's called procrastination. Procrastination remembered me a couplet of Sant Kabir which is ,  " kaal kare so aaj kar , aaj kare so ab; Pal me parlay aaego, bahuri karego kab! " We and you have been doing this since school time. Goals and checklists are made quickly, but when the action is to be taken, then quickly postpone it to tomorrow, next week or next month. Do you know when people set their goals, then what days they quit?  21 days…….,14 days……. No! Most people quit on the 2nd day and this is because whenever we set a goal we want to be perfect in that thing. And this is why we do the quits. We think  that I had to walk at least 10,000 steps everyday to make me lose weight. Could only do 2000 today. Leave this! Weight loss ...

Tigers are fascinating creatures

Tigers are fascinating creatures   Tigers are found only in Asia. There were 100,000 tigers at the start of the 20 th century. But their numbers dwindled tremendously because they were hunted for sport. Today, there are as few as 5,000 tigers left in the wild. The tiger (Panthera tigris) is the biggest of the big cats. A fully grown tiger can be more than 3 m(10 ft) from nose to tail. A large male tiger can weigh an average of 200 kg, and a tigress an average of 150 kg. The Siberian tiger is the biggest of all tigers, and can weigh over 300 kg. Unlike other big cats, tigers are good swimmers. They like to bathe   in water to stay cool. They often reverse slowly into water to keep their faces from getting wet. A tiger always hunts alone. It does not chase its prey but stalk it. Tigers use their eyes and ears, not so much their nose, to hunt. A tiger usually kills animals the size of a deer once a week, and feeds on 50-80 kg of meat. This keeps it going for a...
